Marta Marinotti is a 24 y/o photographer, based between Milan and Venice. She grew up in a mask shop: mystery and theatricality are being stuck since then in her aesthetics. Her pictures spread from the fashion industry to a more journalistic attitude, always running hidden meanings, free to be interpretated. Her inspiration comes from the most different subjects: it could be an imperfection of a face, a plastic bag, a pattern, garbage, a field, everything with a little beauty within. She never had a proper formation as photographer: studying fashion in Milan and, in the meantime, entering Gian Paolo Barbieri’s studio as an intern. ‘Learn through working’ it’s her motto.
